Our family vacation at Swissôtel Living Al Ghurair in Dubai was a comfortable and seamless experience. The absolute highlight for us was the Two-Bedroom Apartment. It was incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully laid out to give everyone their own space while still feeling connected. Having a fully equipped kitchenette made family breakfasts and quick snacks effortless, and the in-room washer/dryer was a total lifesaver for managing the laundry that inevitably piles up on a family holiday.The hotel’s location in Deira offers an unmatched level of convenience for families. Having direct indoor access to the Al Ghurair Centre meant we could easily pop into the mall for dining, shopping, or picking up essentials at the massive Carrefour supermarket without ever having to step out into the intense midday heat. The property’s shared amenities kept the whole family entertained. The 4th-floor outdoor pool feels like a tropical oasis tucked away in the city, providing a great space for the kids to splash around while the adults relaxed. Across the board, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and highly attentive to our needs as a family especially Tanveer at the concierge & Khatir and Ali for valet car parking. The only reason this stay fell just short of a perfect 10/10 was the heavy peak-hour traffic in Deira. Getting taxis or rideshares during rush hour can try your patience, so we highly recommend utilizing the nearby Metro line whenever you are heading down towards Downtown Dubai or Dubai Marina. Additionally, the lobby can get quite busy and the check-in process felt a bit slow during peak family arrival hours in the afternoon.Despite the area's minor traffic bottlenecks, the sheer space of the two-bedroom apartment, the unbeatable mall connectivity, and the family-friendly atmosphere make Swissôtel Living Al Ghurair an outstanding, high-value premium choice. We would absolutely stay here again on our next family trip to Dubai.

We checked in yesterday to celebrate my son’s birthday, expecting a comfortable and enjoyable stay with our family. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. While our guests were already inside the apartment, two security staff came into the apartment and instructed all our guests to leave. They then entered the apartment and conducted an inspection while we were staying there. We found this very uncomfortable and intrusive, especially during a family celebration. What made the situation even more frustrating was that an AED 4,000 deposit was requested only after we had already checked in. We were not comfortable paying such a large amount at that stage, so we declined. The whole experience was stressful and completely took away from what should have been a special birthday celebration for my son. Please think twice before booking this hotel, especially if you are planning a family gathering or staying in one of their apartments. Based on our experience, we will not be staying at this hotel again. I hope management reviews how these situations are handled and improves communication with guests before check-in.
